Comment semer ?
- Remplissez un pot ou une caissette d'un mélange de sable et de tourbe humidifiés puis semez les fines graines, le plus clair possible.
- Placez le semis entre 25 et 30 °C sous une lumière diffuse, en veillant au maintien de l'humidité jusqu'à la germination.
Quand semer lithops ?
Semis de printemps (températures entre 20 et 30°C) avec des graines âgées d'au moins un an. Semis sur lit de sable fin, sans enterrer les graines et sous plastique pendant les deux premières semaines.
Comment faire pousser des lithops ?
Plantez vos lithops en les espaçant de 10 cm en tous sens pour les espèces formant des touffes. Enterrez le tiers inférieur des feuilles sous une couche de gravillons fins ou de sable pour ne laisser dépasser que le tiers supérieur des feuilles. Tassez autour du collet.
Quel substrat pour lithops ?
Pour constituer votre substrat, choisissez au moins 50 à 75 % de matériaux drainants tels que la pouzzolane, la perlite, le sable grossier (de rivière, lavé) ou la vermiculite. Complétez avec de la terre de jardin et du terreau.
