D'invention régionale son nom proviendrait du fait que les bergers de savoie versaient la "gnôle" et le café dans leurs sabots. Le Mot Grolle provient du latin Grolla qui signifie vieux soulier. Notre grolle peut être utilisée afin de réaliser LA GROLLE, ou en décoration.
