L'action du groupe est cotée à la bourse de Paris au sein de l'indice de référence CAC 40. Le 18 décembre 2019 , le groupe PSA et le groupe FCA officialisent la signature d'un accord de fusion. Le groupe disparait le 16 janvier 2021 à la suite de sa fusion avec le groupe FCA, pour former Stellantis.
Pourquoi le nom Stellantis ?
Juillet 2020. Le nouveau groupe qui unit PSA et FCA a désormais un nom : Stellantis, issu du verbe latin "stello" qui signifie "briller d'étoiles".
