L'entretien du Kalanchoe est relativement facile, mais il faut savoir que trop d'eau peut faire pourrir les racines. N'arroser que si le sol est sec, 1 à 2 fois par semaine en été, tous les 10 à 15 jours en hiver. Si les feuilles pendent, c'est signe que la plante a trop d'eau.

Le kalanchoe refleurit seul après une période de repos. Mais comme c'est une plante de jours courts, il refleurit mieux et plus vite si on le place dans un endroit moins lumineux après la fin de la floraison. En hiver, il doit être dans l'obscurité de 17 h à 7 h du matin.
